The State-owned Pharmaceutical Factory No.2 of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (hereinafter “Lao Factory No.2”) is a state-owned pharmaceutical enterprise directly under the Ministry of Health. Established in the 1970s, it has more than 40 years of history and is one of Laos’ largest, oldest, and most comprehensive pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Each year, Lao Factory No.2 supplies scarce medicines for cancer and rare-disease patients worldwide.
